Sandra, owner and lead planner of our California branch, first experienced the magic of Savvy Weddings through her own wedding planning journey with Savvy Weddings Hawaii. Working closely with her planner, Amanda, Sandra saw firsthand the exceptional value and expertise the company offered. Sandra and Amanda developed a friendship and one day Amanda suggested going into business with Sandra and expanding Savvy Weddings to California, leading to the creation of Savvy Weddings California.
As a former bride, Sandra brings a unique personal touch to each wedding she plans, drawing from her own experiences both as a bride and a wedding planner. She combines meticulous attention to detail, creativity, unwavering dedication, and an enthusiastic personality to lead our California division, making our weddings truly exceptional.

As a bride, Sandra was very particular, needing a wedding planner who not only understood her vision but also felt like a friend throughout the process. This personal experience drives her to build strong connections with her couples, often hearing them say they’ll miss their conversations with Sandra or ask, "Can we still be friends after this?" Sandra’s favorite part of her job is witnessing the joy of couples as they see their vision come to life and hearing them exclaim, "OMG, this is so US!" on their wedding day. Each wedding is a unique story, and Sandra loves being part of one of the happiest days of her couples’ lives.

Sandra worked as a catering manager, overseeing 3-5 weddings per week during peak seasons, and served as a wedding planning assistant for various planners in the area. She is also a Certified Wedding Planner through the only on-campus course of its kind in the country. Supported by our Hawaii branch’s 15+ years of industry expertise, Sandra and her team are dedicated to creating world-class weddings that reflect each couple’s unique vision.
Alex attends Comic-Con every year in San Diego.

My favorite part of weddings is the actual wedding day itself. It’s a beautiful day full of so much love and happiness, and I love that I get to be a part of it.
Favorite Part of Weddings:
Alex is one of our Wedding Day Assistants. She is originally from San Diego and currently lives in the Bay Area. Outside of wedding day, she works as a corporate event planner. When she’s not helping with weddings, you can find her crafting, or hanging with her pup, Kaia.

Makenna is one of our Wedding Day Assistants. She currently lives in the Bay Area and works as a catering manager at one of the local wedding venues. When she’s not helping with weddings, you can find her working as a lash technician or hanging with her husband, Chase.

Being a part of something so monumental in a couple’s life. There are very few events in a person’s life that stand out as much as a wedding and I get to have a hand in creating that memory. Bonus - I get to do it as a job. Not to mention that weddings are a blast.
Favorite Part of Weddings:
Jenn is the founder of Savvy Weddings. Before creating Savvy Weddings, she was the catering manager at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Over the past few years, Jenn has stepped back from being as involved with weddings, however she serves as a great resource for our whole team! You will still see her occasionally helping out on wedding day!
